Emily Yip, MA, LMFT
Emily is a licensed Marriage and Family therapist in Connecticut and New York State. Emily graduated from Fairfield University with a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. For the past 9 years she has been working with adults, adolescents and families with a variety of issues ranging from eating disorders, family/relationship issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, sexual identity, couples work, parent coaching and navigating life transitions. ​

Emily has worked as a Family Therapist in residential and outpatient eating disorder settings such as Center for Discovery and Monte Nido & Affiliates’ Clementine residential facility. She has extensive experience working with adolescents and adults suffering from eating disorders, providing support for clients and their families.

Emily provides individual and family therapy for adolescents and adults, ranging from 14 and up. She creates a warm, compassionate, and non judgmental environment where her clients are able to authentically express themselves as they explore the formidable challenges in their lives.
